Bio: Kru George Adamia was born in the former soviet Republic of Georgia in a city known as Sukhumi. He grew up wrestling as a child mesmerized by martial arts at a young age. Unfortunately a civil war broke out during which his grandfather a Major General and War Hero, Geno Adamia was killed while George's father suffered serious injury from a grenade explosion. His family lost everything and were forced to move away as internally displaced peoples. After living in Russia for a short period of time his family moved to north Texas to rebuild their lives. George had moved to the land of opportunity to restart his life and pursue the American dream.
In grade school he starting muay thai training in his early teens as a means to stay out of trouble and learn to defend himself. In Plano, Texas he was fortunate to find world renowned trainer Saekson Janjira a 7 time Muay Thai world champion. Saekson inspired a deep love and appreciation for Muay Thai in George. He joined the team and soon made it onto the pro competition team and had his first muay thai match in his early teens with Saekson in his corner. Saekson would would bring the best of the best from Thailand year after year. George trained and learned from golden era legends like Samart Payakaroon, Kaensak Sor Ploenchit, Deselnoi, and Woodenman Jongsannong . He was truly in Muay Thai heaven! The competition team was made up of top striking pros like Anthony Njokuani, Chidi Njokuani, Pete Spratt, Jason House and Maurice Smith just to name a few. For nearly a decade George was immersed in authentic pro Muay Thai Boxing training. After an injury George was forced to take a break from competition. But his love and passion for Muay Thai and Martial Arts still burned bright.
Upon moving to Austin Texas for college and work he continued his training and coaching at numerous gyms of different disciplines keeping his skills sharp and growing as a martial artist. After a few years George moved to Florida for a job opportunity. The move would be pivotal in taking his martial arts career to the next level. There he started training under Team Nogueira a top MMA & BJJ team with legendary fighters including Anderson Silva, The Nogueira Brothers, and countless top MMA pros. There he also trained under legendary Georgian wrestling olympian Avto Gogolashvilli to take his wrestling skills to the next level. George spent the next 13 years dedicating himself to learning Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and teaching at multiple academies expanding his knowledge. Ultimately being introduced to Helio Gracie's teachings & techniques by the Valente Brothers Academy who'm Helio spent his last days perfecting his cirriculum. Learning Gracie Jiu Jitsu opened many doors including meeting professor Marcos Marciel De Oliviera who introduced coach George to Grand Master Reyson Gracie. Fast forward to 2022 after building a great relationship with the Reyson Gracie Association Coach George was promoted by Master Reyson Gracie (9th Degree Red Belt) to Gracie Jiu Jitsu Black Belt. Now he is living the American Dream, Sharing his passion, and Changing peoples lives for the better everyday!
